On the surface this might sound like a good idea. That is until you hear what budget he'e slashing. The Obama administration is cutting the Public Safety Officers death benefits program from $110 million to $60 million, according to the Associated Press. The move was made because the number of poilice and safety offer deaths in the line of duty is decreasing, according to the budget documents. A spokeswoman for the Justice Department said that " Any families that are eligible for benefits under this program, will receive them".
Why dont we take a look at this story, a little closer? "The budget for this benefit is being cut because the number of officer deaths in the line of duty is decreasing". Actually, the number of deaths of public safety officer in the line of duty is up 21% over the same period for last year. Is President Obama claivoyant? Does he know through intuition that these numbers will drop suddenly? Has his administration been made promises from the DIRTBAGS that have been killing cops, that now they'll be good boys and girls? NO, of course not.
It really is just Barry, the annointed one, showing his true colors, once again. Public Safety officers are not a big favorite in the "Community", so why should there be any benefit for their families after they die? "I mean, hell, if they weren't down there harrassing them innocent crack dealers in the first place, they wouldn't have gotten killed, right?"
Barry, Barry, Barry, you are not going to foster much support from the people that you need to laytheir lives on the line for you, by diong things like this. Who is next on the budget block? Firemen, E.M.S. workers, Secret Service? We al know from your past performance that the Welfare Budget is in no danger. Let's increase expenditures for health care for illegal alien immigrants and their extended families, we'll just take the money from the fallen officers fund.
