Bill Clinton, still true to form

Over the weekend, former President, William J. Clinton gave a press conference in which he compared the people in the Tea Party movement to Timothy McVeigh. Apparently Mr. Clinton is confused. Timothy McVeigh was not motivated to do the bombing of the Murrah Bldg. in Oklahoma City by any rhetoric that was coming over conservative talk radio, or Fox News Channel. In his own words, Mr. McVeigh was motivated to MURDER all of those innocent people, in the most despicable act of domestic terror that this country has ever seen, by the Clinton Administration's handling of the Branch Davidian compound, in Waco, TX. And a lesser extent, the way the Clinton Dept. of Justice, handled the arrest of Randy Weaver at Ruby Ridge, ID, in which FBI snipers shot and killed Mr. Weavers wife, while she was holding a baby in her arms, and his 12 year old son. The kicker here is; Mr. Weaver was being arrested on a warrant generated by the Clinton Administration's BATF, through entrapment. All charges against Mr.Weaver were dropped as soon as he appeared in Federal District Court for a reading of the charges. The Judge actually apologized to Mr. Weaver, and publicly chided the BATF agents, threatening them with JAIL if they ever brought a case before him under similar circumstances. Cold comfort to Mr. Weaver, whose wife and son are DEAD, at the hands of who? Well, if you follow Democrat Icon, Harry Truman's thinking; William Jefferson Clinton! No wonder he wants to re-write history.

This constant demonizing of the people who disagree with the current administration, by the administrations lackeys, is just an attempt to marginalize dissenting opinion. It's the administration's public excuse to ignore the wishes of the public and institute their plans to "Fundamentally change this country"(Obama, 2008). They know what's best for you, so you just sit back and shut up, you stupid, uneducated, rubes. You're not sophisticated enough to understand what they're doing on your behalf. That is exactly what this administration and congressional majority, think of anyone who does not follow, lock step behind them and their plans. Mr. Clinton said the rhetoric coming from the Tea Party, and Sarah Palin, and Talk Radio, and Fox News, is swaying the minds of the lost souls, who may become the next McVeigh. Knowing the TRUE history of the event, Mr. Clinton has nothing to worry about from the right, but he might want to keep a closer eye on his own side of the aisle. That seems to be where ALL of the hateful rhetoric is coming from, whereas the right is putting forth political disagreement, and however much obstruction they can muster, without having the votes to block anything.

The problem that is coming for Democrats is at the polls, in November, not a violent act by the Tea Party members. Spend at least as much time representing your constituency, as you do fabricating charges against a group of people that simply don't like the job your doing. If your boss is complaining about your job performance, you don't blame the boss; you do a better job.

April 15th, Same BS, Different Year.

For anyone that bothered to tune into the latest media lovefest, otherwise known as an Obama press conference/photo-op, you got to hear how the Tea party folks are just too stupid to understand that he has not raised taxes on them, but has in fact lowered taxes on 95% of them. That seems odd to me. I just don't understand how the Party General Secretary,,,er,,,um,,, I mean the President, could possibly know more about these folks personal finances than the people who see their own paychecks and bank statements, know. Maybe the PolitBuro,,,er,,,I mean Congress and the Senate, passed another one of their secret back room addendums to some bill, allowing the Government to actually do all of the s#*t that they always accused the Bush Administration of doing. In case no one noticed, none of the technology, or agencies, or for the most part, personnel have changed. What makes anyone think that suddenly the capability to spy on the public has changed. And it appears that this administration is even MORE willing to use it, than the last one was. If this bunch had access to Gulags, the Tea Party would not publicly exist. This current power structure does not accept differing points of view, at all. O.K. I'm going off on a rant, here, Taxes are the subject, here.
First of all, let us PLEASE get one thing straight; 53% of the public pays NO income tax. That's none, nada, zip, zero, zilch, NOTHING in Federal Income Taxes. That is not to say that they do not pay into Social Security and MediCare, they do pay into those, but that is different. The payments into Social Security and MediCare(FICA) are supposed to be interest bearing accounts, in the individuals name, so that the individual has a SUPPLEMENTAL source of retirement income, and medical funding. It has, in fact, been being robbed blind since it's inception, so it is by all accounts, BANKRUPT, and so the individuals that have been paying into it for years will receive nothing, but that too, is another story. These two payments are NOT taxes, by Federal definition, and no tax cut, or hike affects them, at all. We are talking about Federal Income Tax, and only the top 47% of wage earners are affected by changes to them.
So when the Douche Bag in Chief, or the Psycho of the House, or the Senate Majority Liar, talk about Middle class tax cuts, or tax cuts for the working poor, they're just blowing smoke up your collective asses. No changes that have been suggested for the Income Tax Code will affect the average middle class or working poor citizen at all. They're promising nothing, and that is exactly what they're delivering, nothing. Maybe my above descriptions were a bit harsh, since they're delivering exactly what they promised. Nah, I was after all, describing what they're doing to the public, in general.
Now please don't see this as a ringing endorsement of the Republican Party, either. It's just that the Republicans are not in power at the moment. I can assure all, that I was not happy with the Republicans either. I wound up in an argument with my father over the creation of the Department of Homeland Security, that it was too far reaching and independently powerful, without any real oversight. I also didn't like the USAPATRIOT Act; far too easy to abuse. Republicans were elected to power by promising to shrink the size and scope of the Federal Government, and they grew it by leaps and bounds. They outspent the Democrats that they replaced, and allowed themselves to not only be corrupted, but they didn't hide it very well, either(I suppose they didn't have enough practice at it). These S.O.B's need a wake up call, ALL of them. Find candidates for Congress and Senate that will do what they say they will, or at least try to, whether it's the popular thing, or not. Remember this November, it's not about campaign promises, or bashing the opponent, it's not about Left or Right, progressive or conservative,,,well,,,ok, progressive or conservative is kind of important, but it IS about right and wrong. Those wonderful values that most of us were taught in grade school. It really is that simple, regardless of what the think tanks and talking heads would have you believe. Those people want us to think that running a government is complicated and nuanced. It isn't. They work for us, they are there to do our bidding. If that seems too complicated, then get the hell out of the way so we can elect someone who can do what they're told to do. The President is NOT the Boss, the President is just our chief representative to the world. He or She is our public face, nothing more or less. The current crop of D.C. Jerk-Offs are without a doubt, the most arrogant, self important, self indulgent, and self entitled bunch that we have ever made the mistake of electing. This November, no incumbents get back in. Just like their tax cuts, nothing, no one, nada, zippo, nichts, none of them. As for the lobbyists, bar them from talking to any elected, or even politically appointed personnel. If they get caught violating the rules, you're not only out of your job, but you may well fond your over-privileged behind, in prison. Let our elected officials start doing what we pay them for, oh, and speaking of paying lawmakers, take their pay back to a level that was originally intended by the founders, adjusted for inflation, of course. Cut their pay, and give the Social Security and MediCare recipients back their COLA increases. If the Capital Hill Bunch want or need extra money, they can go on speaking tours, and earn it. Maybe if they have to actually earn their own money, they won't spend ours so frivolously. Needless to say, I'm not happy. I'll have more about this crap, later. BBFN

So this is what passes for a politician, nowadays.

Anyone who thinks that the answers to all of our prayers will come out of Washington D.C.; you need to click on this link. This guy is living proof that there are people who should not go to college. He not only went to college, and graduated, but then went on to get his Juris Doctorate, and then get himself elected to Congress. I'm willing to bet that this all occured as a result of the worst parts of Affirmative Action. Anytime you read a reference from me about a person being educated beyond his or her intelligence, this is what I'm talking about. Really though, click on the link and see for yourself.

Is Purple becoming the new Brown?

This is not a review of modern fashion trends, but a political question.
As we discover more and more about the "Health Care Reform Act", which seems to have less and less to with health care, and more and more to do with a Government power grab. How else can anyone explain the provisions in the law that allow the Government to tell Doctors that they must record all of their patients medical history, including conversations with the Doctor, into the patients electronic file, which is available to the governing bureaucracy, so that the bureaucracy can then determine how the Doctor can treat the patient, and how much the treatment will cost. To all of those talking points parrots out there; how can that be done without some form of rationing of care("Death Panel")? Just because Obama said it, does not make it so. The point of this question is; doesn't this provision literally fly in the face of the Constitutional protections granted to Doctor/Patient conversations? How is it that I have more privacy when being questioned by Law Enforcement, than I will have when speaking to my own Doctor? What will be next? Will the Government draft a law that compels the Clergy to testify against you? What about conversations with your spouse? By the way, you need to remember that your Psychiatrist or Psychologist, is a "Health Care provider". Will those conversations, up until now held as sacrosanct, become part of the patients "Medical Record" and therefore subject to Government review, by the IRS, the enforcement agency for this monstrosity of a law?
And seriously, can somebody PLEASE tell me what the hell student loan financing is doing in this bill? Really, What is it about this bit of legislation that has the progressives so frightened that they felt it necessary to slip it into THIS bill? To be honest, it is my personal belief that this was put into the bill so that the supporters of the bill would have another anvil upon which to hammer anyone who objected to the Health Care Reform Act. In the press, any and all objectors have been called; racist, right wing extremists, Christian Fascists, inbred, Hillbillies, ignorant, stupid, etc,,, for standing up and exercising their 1st Amendment right to Peacefully Assemble, and voice their objection to a Government policy that appears on it's face to be a massive power grab. These objector's are all of these nasty things, and more, because they believe in a world where a smaller, less obtrusive government is better. A world where personal responsibility is king. Oh, that position is just HATEFUL. For the press; Get a GRIP, a**holes. Try reporting a story, instead of spinning and editorializing, and then wrapping that product as News. And they wonder why their audiences are getting smaller. The problem with the Student Funding provision is; this provision literally is a Government takeover of the Student loan process. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac both came into being as Government Subsidized guarantors of student loans. They were both, also private entities, publicly traded on the NYSE. That is no longer true. They are now agents of the Government, wholly owned subsidiaries of Uncle Sam. Does anyone besides me, see a problem with that?
Now, the supporters of this abomination of legislative garbage, have finally admitted that this law is just the first step towards redistribution of wealth, in the name of social justice. Marxism, plain and simple. If you want to really be scared, do a little research and see exactly how Marxism has affected the people of the countries where it has been implemented, throughout history. In every single case, anyone who openly criticizes the government in power, is either imprisoned, or summarily executed, just for speaking their mind. And lest we forget, Hitler's National Socialist Workers Party, falls into this category, too. The only reason that the Nazi's were identified as politically "Right", was because, for the German election of 1933-34, the two most popular movements in Germany were the Nazi's and the Communist's. Both were using, virtually the same rhetoric, and were alsot indistinguishable from each other. The Nazi's agreed to take the stance of being the political right, as a way of separating themselves from the Communist's for the purposes of that election. The Communist's were not enemies of the Nazi's at that point, and in fact Hitler and Stalin got on quite well, ideologically. The official Communist reaction to the Nazi rise to power in Germany was quite favorable, "First Brown, then Red". The tensions that ended with Germany invading Eastern Europe, and Russia was based on a 400+ year old racial feud between Russians and Prussians. Political differences had no part in it.
So, let's sum all of this up. The current Government is growing too large and powerful, aided by a media that thinks that the population of the country is stupid, and will fall for anything as long as they package it properly. The opposition to this growth in Government is smarter, more inclusive, and FAR more tolerant of those who are opposed to them, than their opposition is.(See any rally, administered by SEIU) These TEA Party members are so radical, they even clean up after themselves. How intolerant and outrageous is that? They seem to welcome everyone, so long as the newcomer is civil. Apparently, public civility matters to these folks. Shouting is OK, as long as it's based on an issue, and not a personal attack. They seem to denounce those attacks, every time, despite what the media reports, and several of the more controversy seeking politicians, have to say. Apparently these TEA party folks attended school when good citizenship was still a part of the curriculum. I think I know whom I would rather associate with.
Oh, by the way, anyone who is still confused about the relevance of the title to the article: You have not been paying attention. The rallies that have been run by SEIU, in support of President Obama, and , (supposedly) his agenda, have brutalized anyone who openly criticizes or disagrees with the agenda or the man. These tactics were last seen in Germany, in the early 30's. The Nazi Brownshirts would beat down any voices in opposition at rallies for Hitler. Anybody want to guess what color shirts the SEIU thugs wear?
